Our cases are made using modern day materials. This material is impact, chip, moisture, and mildew resistant.
The hinge is made from cloth, and is hinged in both the inside and outside. This hinge is very durable.
The hook and eye clasp are made out of metal, mostly brass.
The cover and pinch pads are made of velvet.
Our cases have the weight and feel of a thermoplastic style case. They are thicker than a traditional paper mache case.
I have never seen a case more durable.

Our mats are made using the same material as our cases, they are not metal, although they have the look of metal.
They will not crinkle, crease or dent like a foil mat. They have no sharp edges that could damage an image.
